Operating in the Turkish woodworking machinery sector since 1975, Canmaksan aims to stand out in increasingly competitive markets through customer-specific systems and solutions it develops. In our interview with Canmaksan Partner Ozan Can, we discussed in depth the sector’s performance in 2025, expectations for 2026, and why offering customized solutions to customers is becoming an ever more decisive factor in competition.

Throughout 2025, AIMSAD took significant steps to enhance the visibility of the Turkish woodworking machinery sector on international platforms while strengthening its corporate representation and effectiveness in decision-making mechanisms.

AIMSAD Board Member and Secretary General Arif Onur Kaçak and Assistant Secretary General Sıla Acar attended the Secretaries General Coordination Meeting hosted by the Sectoral Associations Federation (SEDEFED). At the meeting, the road map for the upcoming period was evaluated to strengthen the cooperation between member associations, increase coordination and produce more effective results with joint projects.

“Associations Meeting” organized by Hannover Fairs Turkey & MENA was held in Istanbul. Shaped by Deutsche Messe AG’s global network and local expertise, the organization brought sectoral associations together on the same platform.

AIMSAD represented the Turkish woodworking machinery sector on an international platform at the Cairo WoodShow held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The contacts established during the fair formed an important basis for the development of the sector’s relations with the African and Middle Eastern markets.

AIMSAD represented Türkiye at the General Assembly of EUMABOIS, the umbrella organization of the European woodworking machinery industry.

Baromak, which has quickly become a strong brand in the finishing machinery sector of the Turkish woodworking machinery sector, currently operates two modern production facilities in Bursa with an annual capacity of 150 machines.
